Examined material: MAR/92: Praia da Caieira, 1 male, 1 female; JUN/92: Praia do Boldró, 1 male; AUG/ 92: Baía do Sueste: 2 specimens; JAN/2000: Praia da Caieira, 1 male, 1 female.

Habitat: found in the sublittoral, inside of rocks and submerged reefs; in depths of up to 3 m; generally in pairs.
