Stegana (Steganina) bimai Cui & Chen, sp. nov.
(Figs. 6E, 6F, 29)
Diagnosis. This species closely resembles S. (S.) clavispinula Chen & Chen, 2009 in the shape of epandrium, surstylus, cercus (as figs. 1, 2 in Chen & Chen 2009, Fig. 29A, B), and aedeagal sheath in ventral view (as fig. 6 in Chen & Chen 2009, Fig. 29E), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the surstylus with 1 peg-like tooth near distal margin (Fig. 29B); the aedeagus expanded distally in ventral view (Fig. 29D), lacking serrated process in median process (Fig. 29C, D); the subepandrial sclerite slightly X-shaped (Fig. 29G).
Description. Male and female: First flagellomere brown. Clypeus yellow. Mesonotum brown medially, yellow laterally (Fig. 6E). Scutellum brown, yellow along margin (Fig. 6E). Katepisternum yellowish (Fig. 6F). Halter mostly grey (Fig. 6F). Fore femur with 3 thin, long setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites brown (Fig. 6E, F); sternites brownish, about 2 times as wide as long in male, about 3 times as wide as long in female. Male terminalia (Fig. 29): Epandrium with ca. 15 setae on dorsal to posterior portions per side (Fig. 29A). Surstylus slightly squared, with minute, serrated processes distally and several setulae near distal margin (Fig. 29A, B). Cercus lacking pubescence (Fig. 29A). Hypandrium expanded anteromedially (Fig. 29C, D). Pregonite small, with 3 sensilla (Fig. 29C, D). Aedeagus with some pubescence distoventrally (Fig. 29C). Aedeagal sheath with several minute, serrated processes distally (Fig. 29E, F).
