Type area. Peru.

Examined material. LT ♂ (CTs at ZIRA); 2 ♂ (CSt).

Note. Species only known from the ♂ LT and two specimens in CSt labelled “Huanuco” (legit Mateu) and “Cerro de Pasco” (legit Bordon) respectively; the latter shows two close setae on each side of the anterior margin of pronotum (see B. euphaenops).

Distribution. The labels of the two specimens in CSt suggest a distribution in the neighboring Depts. Pasco and Huanuco (central Peru).
