T. Udhagamandalam (formerly Ootacamund). D. Meghalaya: Mawthadraishan Peak (Kharkongor 2018). R. Stephenson (1914a) reported the species doubtfully from Arunachal Pradesh, based on a single immature specimen. Gates (1972: 250) included this specimen in his account of D. kempi but emphasized that it was “too immature to warrant more than a guess at identification.” There is a large distribution gap between the subspecies’ occurrence in southern India and, as presently reported, in the NER region. The inclusion of this taxon in the present list is therefore tentative; it is based on Kharkongor (2018) and requires confirmation.
