Type locality: Inner Mongolia (China).

Published (original) locality: “Provinz Ordoss am gelben Flusse”.

Current status. Morawitzella nana (Morawitz, 1880) .

Remarks. Female unknown. Shaanxi is mistakenly listed as a type locality by Pesenko & Astafurova 2006: 337. The lectotype specimen was collected by the Nikolay Przhevalsky expedition in Central Asia (1871–1873) during their passage through the historical territory of Ordos (now Ordos City, in a subdivision of Inner Mongolia).
