Current status. Nomiapis squamata (Morawitz, 1894) .
Remark. Astafurova & Pesenko (2006: 211) designated the lectotype of Nomia squamata from Cheleken Island (Turkmenistan, Balkan Province, Cheleken Peninsula). This locality is not mentioned in the original description by Morawitz (1894), so the designation is invalid according to ICZN 1999 (Article 74.2).
Distribution. Turkey, Central Asia, Kazakhstan, Iran, Pakistan, China (Xinjiang).
