Diagnosis
Postpedicel 2× the length of the scape and pedicel combined; facial carina present and well developed (dividing the antennae); proboscis about equal to head height; lower facial margin protruding (visible in profile); thorax with 4 to 5 katepisternal setae; abdomen broad, with syntergite 1 + 2 with 1–3 short median marginal setae, 4–5 pairs of median marginal setae and 1 pair of discal setae on tergite 3, tergites 4 and 5 with a row of median marginal setae (without discals), tergite 5 with a golden-greyish pruinosity.
Distribution
(São Paulo, Santa Catarina and Paraná states).
