Distribution: India (Meghalaya); China; Japan; Korea; Taiwan; Europe (Razowski 2003).
Hosts: Larvae are reported from Cyperus spp. and Schoenoplectus lacustris (Cyperaceae) and Juncus spp. ( Juncaceae) (Disque 1908; Fernald 1882; Heinrich 1926; Park 1983; Bradley et al. 1979).
