Distribution: India (Meghalaya); Sri Lanka; Taiwan (Koçak & Kemal 2012).
Hosts: Larvae are reported to feed in the shoots and webbed leaves of Olea dioica (Oleaceae), Piper betle, Piper nigrum, and Piper kadsura (Piperaceae) (Fletcher 1921; Kalshoven 1981; Devasahayam & Abdulla Koya 1993b, 1994; Horak 2006).
