Distribution: India (Tamil Nadu); Sri Lanka; Thailand; Vietnam (Diakonoff 1982, Pinkaew 2006, Nedoshivina 2013).

Host: Larvae feed on flowers and seeds of Bauhinia purpurea, Bauhinia variegata, Hardwickia binata, Peltophorum sp., and Tamarindus indica (all Fabaceae) (Meyrick 1916, 1933; Fletcher 1932; Diakonoff 1982); records of Lantana camara (Verbenaceae) (Fletcher 1932) may be incorrect.
