TL: India, Assam, Khasi Hills [now in Meghalaya].

Distribution: India (Meghalaya); China; Japan; Korea (Byun et al. 1998; Komai 1999).

Hosts: Larvae live inside of the galls of cynip wasps ( Hymenoptera: Cynipidae) on Quercus and Castanea (Fagaceae), feeding on gall tissue and the larvae of the wasps (Abe 1990; Abe & Sanari 1992; Komai 1992).
