Distribution. Palaearctic: Europe: Austria, Czech Republic, France, Great Britain, Italy, Norway, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Sweden, Switzerland. Asia: Turkey.

Remarks. This species was described by H. Loew based on material collected by F. Kowarz from Serbia and Romania.
