Genus Sparganophilus Benham, 1892

Diagnosis: Prostomium zygoloboic. Unpigmented. Male pores intraclitellar. Gizzard, calciferous lamellae and glands, typhlosole, and intestinal caeca absent. Holonephridia, first pair in or behind xi, nephridiopores intrasegmental. Spermatheca, when present, without diverticula. Semiaquatic or limicolous earthworms.
