Sequences of the Balinese Corydendrium sp. cluster with counterparts from other tropical localities of the Indo-Pacific and Caribbean Sea, and diverge from sequences obtained from samples collected in Norway and Sweden, with a genetic distance of 12.3 ± 1.4% between the two clades (Fig. 25A).
