Material examined. The following lots were examined. BCD: San Carlos Bay, Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico, 32 m, 2 sh .

Diagnosis. Teleoconch pod-like, with maximum diameter centrally. Dorsal margin convex, slightly flattened centrally. Anterior ventral margin rather flat. Surface semi-translucent white, smooth with only fine axial growth lines. Septum mucronate, well-inflated, with blunt mucro. Aperture oblique, simple without a varix.

Distribution and Habitat. Currently only represented by two specimens from San Carlos Bay, Sonora, Mexico.

Remarks. Caecum sp. C could potentially be a Mauroceras, which would make it the first and only one known within the eastern Pacific. However, additional research is required to confirm its placement.
