COLLECTOR/S. — Charles-Alexandre Lesueur, contra É. Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire (1810: 105) who mentions Péron as its collector. COLLECTION LOCALITY. — Near Kupang Bay, West-Timor, Indonesia. COLLECTION DATE. — Between 6 May and 3 June 1803. SPECIMEN NUMBER/S. — MNHN-ZM-MO-1996-2116 (Figs 45; 46), holotype, skin mount and skull ; and MNHN-ZM-MO-1996-2128 (Fig. 47), paratype, skin mount .
