COLLECTION LOCALITY. — Bernier Island, Shark Bay, Western Australia, Australia. COLLECTION DATE. — Between 26 June and 14 July 1801. SPECIMEN NUMBER/S. — MNHN-ZM-AC-A3128 / MNHN-ZM-AC-13754, holotype skeleton, young animal. Specimen appears to be missing from the Gallery of Palaeontology and Comparative Anatomy.
