Nyssodesmus montivagus (Carl, 1902)

Nyssodesmus valerii Chamberlin, 1933: 16 (original description. Synonymized by Loomis 1968: 33).

Types: P. montivagus, unspecified number of ♂ and ♀ syntypes from Costa Rica: Volcan de Turrialba, 2000 m; P. Biolley leg . 5 syntypes are deposited at the MHNG, cat. no. MHNG-ARTO-15118, one syntype deposited at the NMB, cat. no. NMB-DIPL-00443a (J. Hollier, pers. comm.).

N. valerii, ♀ holotype from Costa Rica: La Palma; 5-I-1928 . Holotype originally in Chamberlin's collections, it is currently at the NMNH, cat. no. 101793 (D. DeRoche, pers. comm.).
