Types: ♂ holotype from Saint Lucia: Fond de Jacques, G. A. Ramage leg. Originally deposited at the BNHM, currently lost, neotype not yet designated (Shelley & Martínez-Torres 2013).
Distribution: Endemic to Saint Lucia, France, in the Lesser Antilles.
