Barydesmus javarynus (Schubart, 1950) new combination

Platyrhacus (Tirodesmus) javarynus Schubart, 1950: 149, fig. 4 (original description).

Types: ♂ holotype from Brazil: Est. Amazonas: Mun. Benjamin Constant: Rio Javari; A. Parko leg., from 20-II- 1942 to 15-III-1942. Originally deposited at the MNRJ, but we could not confirm its current state.

Distribution: known only from the type locality.
