Cyphorrhacus Festae Silvestri, 1897a: 16 (original description).

Platyrrhacus Festae: Attems 1899 (combination).

Types: ♀ holotype from Ecuador: San José. The type material was originally at the MRSN, we could not confirm if it is currently deposited in their collection.

Distribution: known only from the type locality.
