Barydesmus fuscatus (Chamberlin, 1941) new combination

Aymaresmus fuscatus Chamberlin, 1941: 495, fig. 167–168 (original description).

Platyrhacus fuscatus: Jeekel 1963: 90 (combination).

Types: ♀ holotype from Peru: Iquitos; VIII-1928. Deposited at the AMNH, cat. no. 9486 (Chamberlin 1941), we could not confirm its current state.

Distribution: known only from the type locality.
