Barydesmus bombonus (Chamberlin, 1941) new combination

Platyrrhacus bombonus Chamberlin, 1941: 491, fig. 113–115 (original description).

Types: ♀ holotype from Peru: Rio Bombo, Alto Tapiche; I-1928. Deposited at the AMNH, cat. no. 9472 (Chamberlin 1941), we could not confirm its current state.

Distribution: known only from the type locality.
