Barydesmus brunnior (Chamberlin, 1941) new combination

Aymaresmus brunnior Chamberlin, 1941: 495, fig. 159–161 (original description).

Platyrhacus brunnior: Jeekel 1963: 90 (combination).

Types: ♀ holotype from Peru: Upper Rio Blanco; 1928. Deposited at the AMNH, cat. no. 9484 (Chamberlin 1941), we could not confirm its current state.

Distribution: known only from the type locality.
