Barydesmus socius (Chamberlin, 1941) new combination

Platyrrhacus socius Chamberlin, 1941: 496, fig. 145–146 (original description).

Types: ♂ holotype from Peru: Iquitos. Deposited at the AMNH, cat. no. 9480 (Chamberlin 1941), we could not confirm its current state.

Distribution: known only from the type locality.
