Barydesmus medius (Chamberlin, 1941) new combination

Aymaresmus medius Chamberlin, 1941: 496, figs 171–173 (original description).

Platyrhacus medius: Jeekel 1963: 90 (combination).

Types: ♀ holotype from Peru: Iquitos, VIII-1928. Deposited at the AMNH, cat. no. 9488 (Chamberlin 1 941), we could not confirm its current state.

Distribution: known only from the type locality.
