Barydesmus balsapuertus (Chamberlin, 1941) new combination

Platyrrhacus balsapuertus Chamberlin, 1941: 491, fig. 108–112 (original description).

Types: ♂ holotype from Peru: Moyobamba, Balsapuerto Trail; XII-1925. Deposited at the AMNH, cat. no. 9471 (Chamberlin 1941), we could not confirm its current state.

Distribution: known only from the type locality.
