Barydesmus bifasciatus (Silvestri, 1897) new combination

Platyrrhacus bifasciatus Silvestri, 1897a: 14, fig. 40 (original description).

Types: ♂ holotype from Ecuador: Valle del Santiago. The type material was originally at the MRSN, we could not confirm if it is currently deposited in their collection.

Distribution: known only from the type locality.
