Types: ♂ (right gonopod only) lectotype and ♀ paralectotype from Colombia: Dep. Meta: Villavicencio; Bürger leg.; both in MSNG (Silvestri’s collection), the types at Zoological Museum, University of Göttingen, seem lost (Hoffman & Martínez-Torres 2012).

Distribution: Colombia, eastern slopes of the Cordillera Oriental, several localities in Boyacá, Meta and Cundinamarca Department.
