2. Goniocheton brassii (Merr. & L.M.Perry) Hauenschild & Holzmeyer, comb. nov.

≡ Dysoxylum brassii Merr. & L.M.Perry in J. Arnold Arbor. 21: 309. 1940 – Holotype: Indonesia, Irian Jaya, Jayapura, Idenburg [= Taritatu] River, 4 km SW Bernhard Camp, Brass 13278 (A barcode 00044790!).

Distribution. – New Guinea. This species does not have the morphological features characteristic of Goniocheton .
