Diagnosis. Antennomeres 20, the basal 2.5 glabrous, coxosternum with 3+3 main teeth. Tergites without spines or lateral keels. Short paramedian sutures present on anterior sternites only. Sternite 21 with curved sides converging posteriorly. Coxopleuron with two terminal spines, with or without a dorsal spine. Ultimate leg prefemur with four spine rows. Legs 1 and 2 with two tarsal spines, legs 3 to 21 with one.

Description. (Attems’ data in parentheses where appropriate). Length 33 mm. Antennomeres 20, the basal 2.5 glabrous. Coxosternal with 3+3 main teeth, the inner two more or less fused, the outer separated and with a trace of a small lateral subsidiary tooth (fig. 31).

Tergite paramedian sutures complete 6, margination weak on 7, well-marked from 9 (from 16) without spines or lateral keels. A very weak median keel on mid body segments, weakly corrugate laterally from 8.

Sternites with very short paramedian sutures confined to anterior segments (on 2 to 6, the following without). Sternites in mid trunk with weak paramedian and posterior median depressions (fig. 32) (no clear pits). Sternite 21 with curved sides converging posteriorly (fig. 33).

Coxopleural process long and slender with two terminal spines and with or without a dorsal spine. No lateral spine(s) (fig. 34). Ultimate leg prefemoral spines: VL 5, VM 2, M 2, DM 2, CS 1 (Fig. 35). Legs 1 and 2 with two tarsal spurs, 3 to 21 with one.

Remarks. This species is grouped with O. astenus, O. glaber and O. celebensis in Attems (1934) key and differentiated from them by the absence of paramedian sutures from the mid and posterior sternites. It is also characterised by the shape of sternite 21 and the absence of lateral coxopleural spines. Although similar to O. astenus, O. olivaceus is clearly distinct from it and a valid species.
