Diagnosis. Recognized by following set of characters: antenna shorter than body length (Carvalho & Lorenzato 1989: fig. 83); dorsum, head, and thoracic pleura punctate (Figs 11B–D); labial segment I with subdivision (Fig. 11E); pronotum with oval pit between calli (Fig. 11D); aedeagus as depicted by Carvalho & Lorenzato (1978: fig. 84).
