It was reared from a looping caterpillar on Macaranga thompsoni, Mt. Alifan, May 21, Swezey . The adult moth issued June 6 . Similar looping caterpillars were collected from Macaranga at Dededo, August 11 and Fadian, September 18 , but they failed to mature, so it is. not certain whether they were the same species.
