REMARKS.— See Remarks under Coelognathus erythrurus manillensis regarding possible presence of this subspecies throughout the Quezon-Bicol Faunal subregion (Catanduanes and Polilllo Ids., and the Bicol Peninsula of Luzon).
CONSERVATION STATUS [IUCN].— The conservation status of Coelognathus erythrurus psephenourus has not been assessed for the IUCN Red List [2016] ver. 3.1, but IUCN notes that it is listed in the Catalogue of Life.
