MACFADYENIA, gen. nov. *

Very remarkable genus o f terrestrial nematodes, the systematic position of which remains uncertain.

I n its general shape similar t o the Chromadorids, especially to the genus Euchromadora de Man; it differs from this earlier genus in the following points:- -

(l) the thin, smooth, not annulated cuticle; (2) the irregularly shaped dorsal tooth; and (3) the rather large, strongly muscular o esophageal bulb.
