Dorylaimus macrodorus de Man.

de Man, 1884, pp. 168-169, pl. xxii, fig. I10, 110 a-c.

Dimensions.—Body-length= l. 920 mm., max. width=- 0.072 mm., oesophagus=0. 400 mm., tail=- 0.028 mm., vulva=0.9 0 0 mm.,:α=26.67, β=4.80, γ: 6 8. 5 7, V =46.875 per cent.

I n samples from B2 (20) and B4 were seven females, which in the shape a n d structure of the head and the buccal cavity are so similar to D. macrodorus de Man, that I must regard them as synonymous with that species. The spear of the buccal cavity is very remarkable and strongly developed, and the shape o f the tail, measuring only 0.7 o f the anal body - diameter, is quite characteristic.

It may be remarked that the cuticle o f the ventral side o f the tail is v e r y finely serrate (d).
