Distribution. The species is widely distributed in Africa south of Sahara (Burkina Faso, Chad, Sudan, Somalia, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria, D. R. Congo, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Angola, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa).
