In the University of Washington fish database, there is a record (Personal communication: University of Washington, Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture Fish Collection, Seattle, Washington) of a Lampris from Yakutat, Gulf of Alaska. That specimen is missing and its identity cannot be confirmed (Katherine Maslenikov).
