Green Wrasse, Island Wrasse, or Sunset Wrasse. To 32 cm (12.6 in) TL (Gomon in Fischer et al. 1995). Rocas Alijos, southern Baja California (Gotshall 1998); Bahía Magdalena, southern Baja California (De La Cruz-Agüero et al. 1994) into northern Gulf of California (Gomon in Fischer et al. 1995) to northern Peru (Robertson and Allen 2015), Islas Galápagos (Grove and Lavenberg 1997), and many other offshore islands (Robertson and Allen 2002).
