genus Dyschirius Bonelli, 1810

Notes. We followed the arrangement of subgenera and their status within Dyschirius as presented in the Catalogue of Palaearctic Coleoptera (Balkenohl 2003), a concept that includes Dyschiriodes as a subgenus. However, Fedorenko (1996) treated both Dyschirius and Dyschiriodes as distinct genera, the latter with the following subgenera: Antidyschirius, Chiridysus, Eudyschirius, Dyschiriodes and Paradyschirius . The examination of the material in MMNH revealed six new species for the fauna of Macedonia (SH), all of them well expected. We assume that further new species for the Macedonian fauna will be recorded with collection of additional material.
