Notes. According to Müller-Motzfeld (pers. comm. in 1994), Bembidion milleri Jacquelin du Val, 1852 does not live in the Balkans and the records for it should be referred to B. brunnicorne . Bonavita and Vigna Taglianti (2005; pers. comm. in 2006) also stated that thе former species lives only in Slovenia and probably in Serbia. Here these opinions are followed, though Marggi et al. (2003: 258–259) noticed B. milleri from the Balkan Peninsula.
