Chaerephon bemmeleni (Jentink, 1879)

The type specimen of this species was originally collected from an unspecified location in Liberia (Fahr, 2013 e). The occurrence of this species at Mt Nimba is mentioned only by Fahr (2013 e), who stated that it had been recorded in montane grassland at 1,600 m (specimen in the Senckenberg Museum, Frankfurt). It was not recorded during this survey.
