Glauconycteris poensis (Gray, 1842)

During this survey, this species was widely collected in forested habitats as well as degraded secondary forests and, in one instance, on the edge of small village on the Liberian side, from 450 m to 880 m a.s.l. This species had not been previously recorded from Mt Nimba.
