Distribution in Iran. Ardabil, Guilan (Linnavuori 2007), Fars (Linnavuori 2011), Golestan, Mazandaran, Tehran (Hoberlandt 1987), Hamadan (Ghahari et al. 2011), Kerman (Hoberlandt 1978; Ghahari et al. 2011). General distribution. Holomediterranean, extending to Central Europe, Middle East, Central Asia, and India. Comments. In hilly steppes, on Asteraceae (Linnavuori 2011) .
