Cosmopleurus fulvipes (Dallas, 1852)

Distribution in Iran. Fars (Wagner 1968; Linnavuori 2004), Hormozgan (Kiritshenko 1966; Wagner 1968; Linnavuori 2004), Kerman (Seidenstücker 1958; Kiritshenko 1966; Linnavuori 2011), Sistan & Baluchestan (Hoberlandt 1954; Kiritshenko 1966; Seidenstücker 1957) [f. obscura Bergevin 1936], Iran (no locality cited) (Horváth 1889).

General distribution. In desert conditions, from North Africa to Middle East and Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Pakistan; sporadic in Spain and Croatia.

Comments. The form obscura Bergevin, 1936 from Central Africa is a synonym.
