Emblethis griseus (Wolff, 1802)

Distribution in Iran. Ardabil (Modarres Awal 1996a; Linnavuori 2007), Guilan (Wagner 1961; Linnavuori 2007), Hormozgan (Seidenstücker 1987), Khorasan (Modarres Awal 1996b), Semnan, Zanjan (Linnavuori 2007). General distribution. Euromediterranean, extending to the Middle East and Middle Asia. Comments. Askari et al. (2009) reported an unknown species of Emblethis from apple orchards of Zanjan; this is probably E. griseus .
