1. latifrons -group

Diagnosis. Cercal plate produced into a long and narrow robust process which reaches or surpasses apices of surstyli; either with a pair of median setae (e.g., B. latifrons, B. turcica) or bare. Surstylus long and slender in caudal view.

Species included in this group from China are B. cercocerata (Deng, 1985), B. latifrons (Zetterstedt, 1845), and B. tridigitata Fan & Chen in Fan et al., 1984a.
