Type locality: “[China, Taiwan:] at Rimogan [HMẹ] in the province of Taihoku [ŃËffl an administrative division of Taiwan created in 1920, during Japanese rule]”.

Type depository: holotype: ♀ (depository unknown [According to the original description of Miwa (1934), the single female type was deposited “in the callection [sic, collection] of the Department of Agriculture, Government Research Institute, Taihoku [most specimens from this collection are now in Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute, Taichung, China, and a part of specimens are in National Taiwan University, Taipei, China]”. Bell & Bell (1985) wrote it was in the “coll. K. Obayashi”. It was probably lost.])
