Material examined. INFUECO stations: BC4 0710, 4 specimens, 85 m depth; BC8 0710, 1 specimen, 87 m depth.
Habitat. Sandy bottoms with or without vegetation, seagrass meadows of Cymodocea nodosa (Brito et al. 2000), with the maximum depth recorded of 87 m. It is a frequent species with relative abundance in sublittoral sandy environments and marine caves (Riera et al. 2016).
Distribution. Atlantic-Mediterranean, from the Cantabrian Sea to the southern limit of the Canary Islands.
