Material examined. INFUECO stations: BC3 0611, 2 specimens, 80 m depth; BC8 0611, 1 specimen, 235 m depth; BC1 0710, 1 specimen, 109 m depth; BC7 0710, 2 specimens, 270 m depth.
Habitat. In the Canary Islands it has been collected in circalittoral bottoms, in the community of orange corals, Dendrophyllia ramea, until a little over 100 m depth (Núñez & San Martín 1991) , and endobiont of sponges in shallow waters (San Martín 2003) to about 115 m depth. In the present study, it was collected on samples from up to 270 m depth .
Distribution. Atlantic Ocean (Canary Islands), Mediterranean Sea, Philippines, Indonesia, Australia (Queensland) (Álvarez-Campos et al. 2015).
